Disclaimer

REA Field Guide is an independent documentation project. It is not the official REA site, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or distributing software for the authors of morluto/rea, Ghidra's maintainers, or any tool vendor named on these pages.

What this site is

We publish notes about observable behaviour: how a feature feels, where that rule usually lives, and how to rebuild it in code you write. The toolkit itself lives at github.com/morluto/rea, rea.tools, and the rea-agents npm package. Nothing on this site is a download, an installer, or a mirror.

Install only from those official sources. A similar repository name or a copied README does not make a package official. Commands on the setup page were checked against the project README on 18 Oct 2026. REA moves quickly; read the original before you rely on a command.

What this site will not do

Your responsibility

REA's own position, which we follow, is lawful research, education, interoperability, software preservation, and analysis of software you own or are authorised to examine. Studying behaviour is not the same as copying protected code. You are responsible for the licences you accepted and for the law where you are. Nothing here is legal advice. If a rebuild is going into a product you ship, get advice first.

Product names, including REA, Claude Code, Ghidra, Hopper, IDA, and JEB, belong to their owners and are used only to describe the tools a page is about. Comparisons reflect documented capabilities as read on 18 Oct 2026. They are not vendor claims.
